Q. Did God create man so wicked and perverse?

A. No. God created man good and in His own image, so that he might truly know
God, love Him, and live with Him for His praise and glory.

Q. Then where does this corrupt nature come from?
A. From the fall and disobedience of our first parents, Adam and Eve, in
Paradise. We are born sinners.

Q. But are we so corrupt that we are totally unable to do any good and inclined
toward all evil?
A. Yes, unless we are born again.

New Testament Scripture Reading- Romans 9:6-9 CSB
6 Now it is not as though the word of God has failed, because not all who are
descended from Israel are Israel. 7 Neither is it the case that all of Abraham’s
children are his descendants. On the contrary, your offspring will be traced
through Isaac. 8 That is, it is not the children by physical descent who are
God’s children, but the children of the promise are considered to be the offspring.
9 For this is the statement of the promise: At this time I will come, and Sarah
will have a son.
