Gospel
The Gospel is God’s message of the good news of His Kingdom (Luke 4:43). This good news is the life, death, resurrection, ascension to throne, sending of the Holy Spirit and promised return of Jesus Christ (Luke 24:42-53).  Jesus came for the forgiveness of sin (1 John 4:2), to bring redeemed sinners under God’s gracious reign (Revelation 20:6), and for the renewal of all things (Revelation 21:5). The Gospel brings us home to God for life that is truly life – every day (John 10:10).
Our lives are centered in this good news. It is of first importance to us as a community (1 Corinthians 15:1-5). We believe the grace offered in the Gospel, and imparted by the Spirit, is the most powerful agent of change in the universe (Ephesians 2:4-7). It transforms sinners into saints (1 Corinthians 1:2), slaves into sons and daughters (Galatians 4:4-6), and strangers into brothers and sisters (Matthew 12:46-50). The Gospel changes everything.

Community
The Church is not a place or institution. It is a redeemed people (Galatians 3:13). From beginning to end God’s aim is to glorify Himself through a people, His people. He calls this people the Church (Matthew 16:18). Valley Life Community Church is a local expression of God’s redeemed people. We desire the multiplication of disciples, leaders and churches planted throughout the cities of the Treasure Valley to incarnate Jesus in every hill and valley of this beautiful desert.

Mission
As the church, we are a people sent across the street and around the world, on a mission with the Gospel. The mission is to make disciples (Matthew 28:18-20).  We are participating in His unfolding redemption story. We want as many people as possible to experience the sin-cleansing, shame-removing, life-changing, world-altering power of the Gospel. We exist to share this news and our lives with our neighbors. This is why we are here.
