The Letter to the Hebrews

A Sunday morning study in Hebrews feels like wandering into a grand story that’s part mountain climb, part family breakfast—coffee in hand, laughter over who can say Melchizedek correctly, and then suddenly the room is hushed as the text lifts everyone’s gaze from dusty wilderness wanderings and temple rituals to the blazing reality of Jesus, the greater priest, sacrifice, and covenant; by the time chairs scrape and mugs are empty, hearts feel steadied by an anchor that holds, even as the echo of a “better word” lingers into the rest of the week.
