Answers on what we believe at Vally Life Community Church
WHAT TIME DOES THE SERVICE BEGIN?
We start exactly at 10:00 am on Sunday! There are families that start showing up 20-30 minutes early, those that come exactly at 10:05 am, and even those who come in a couple minutes late. Our doors open as early as 9:00 am and the coffee is hot and ready by 9:45am. Whenever you arrive, we will be excited to have you.

WHAT SHOULD I  WEAR?
Come as you are.We are an informal and friendly church who welcome people as they are. There is no need to dress up unless it makes you feel more comfortable. At Valley Life , you’re welcome to wear whatever you’d like. There is no set dress code, although the attire is more on the casual side. Just be you.

What about My young KIDS?
Nursery to 5th Grade:  KREW Ministry Our children’s ministry at Valley Life is fantastic! Valley Life provides care and instruction for ages newborn to fifth grade. You will find a children’s registration desk located in our main lobby with friendly people to help walk you through registering your child. Our children’s ministry uses a state-of-art electronic check-in and security system. we take the safety of all our children very seriously. All children’s ministry staff have gone through a background check and safety training. We have gone to great lengths to promote the spiritual growth and physical safety of our children!

After you register your children our team will be happy to help you find their room. Our children join us for the first part of our service to experience worship. Just after the offering your children will be asked to meet their leaders in the back of the sanctuary to head off to their rooms for gospel centered, age appropriate teachings and activities.

WILL I BE ASKED TO GIVE MONEY?
We do receive an offering each Sunday after the time of singing. Our offerings help us to keep the lights on and enable us to reach our community. But, more than half of our people give online or by phone; if you are a guest or visitor, all we ask is that you fill out a communication card and make that your offering.
HOW CAN I CONNECT WITH OTHER PEOPLE?
Once a month we hold Valley Life 101. This is a great place to start.  Valley Life 101 is a brief introduction to our church and provides an opportunity to connect with our pastor and other people who call Valley Life home.  To get connected to the next Valley Life 101 please contact the church office by phone 208-939-7557 or contact us at secretary@vlccidaho.org.

We offer a gift to all of our first-time guests, and the gift is always located on the counter of the welcome table. If you are willing, we would love to get your name and email address on one of our communication cards.  Once a week, we send out an email with details of upcoming events, sermon series, and updates

HOW LONG IS THE SERVICE ?
A typical service will last about 60-90 minutes. We sing a good mix of contemporary and modern music with classis hymns sprinkled in led by our worship team. The words are displayed on the screen for everyone to sing along.  A host will make a couple short announcements. Our pastor preaches from the Bible and we receive an offering from those who call our church home. At the end, the service concludes in a time of prayer.  One the first Sunday of the month we receive communion.
